The Danish Rehabilitation Center for Neuromuscular Diseases will host the 19. Brickless meeting for professionals working with neuromuscular diseases in Scandinavia. This year, we extend the invitation to our colleagues in Finland, hoping that you will join this and future Brickless meetings.
The meeting will be held from Tuesday, 3 September – Wednesday, 4 September 2024. The venue for the meeting will once again be Musholm holiday and conference centre in Korsør, which is one of the world’s most accessible resorts.
The main thematic topics of this year’s meeting will be palliative care and transition, and puberty and sexuality.
On the first day of the conference, we will focus on palliative care in the context of the WHO definition which establishes that “Palliative care improves the quality of life of patients and that of their families who are facing challenges associated with life-threatening illness, whether physical, psychological, social or spiritual. The quality of life of caregivers improves as well.”
On the second day we address the challenges and need for knowledge and guidance in relation to sexuality.
As usual, we also invite you to present your own projects, studies, or posters.
